South Block is a fantastic four-story former textiles warehouse that has been transformed into a 50,000 sq.ft studio complex in the Innovation District.
Developed by Wasps Studios, a Scottish social enterprise, and charity, and designed by award-winning architects NORD.
South Block offers over 90 studies for not only visual and applied artists but also cultural social enterprises and creative businesses.
South Block offers a variety of different studio spaces to match different artist and business requirements. With over 90 workspaces ranging from 200 sq.ft to 2,000 sq.ft, 25 office spaces for creative companies and an additional seven offices for social enterprises working in the cultural sector and 64 studios for visual artists and makers.

You can also find creative studios working side by side with Design Engineering Workshop an engineering consultancy specialising in architecture and design-led projects. All topped off by being the home to PROJECT by Dear Green, which offers delicious coffee to the building tenants right across from their first roasting site.
